Cons:
Literally the worst office ever. I am currently trying to get an appointment and they are 100% unreachable all of the time. You have to wait for them to call you and if you miss the call... well then good luck trying to get ahold of anyone again! I mean, its not like my unborn child's well-being is important or anything...... AWFUL!
Nice new and clean Facility
Finally got an appointment after calling each extension on the phone message until I reached a person off the bat. She was very nice. However, I still give a 1 star because with a 245 appointment I am still sitting here 40 mins later with no sign of being called back any time soon. This office clearly doesn't understand the concept, in any way, that people's time is valuable.
Update:
The wait times are horrible! I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, and was not called back to see the tech until 30 minutes after my appointment. Then, after the ultrasound, I waited for over an hour before I just got frustrated and left! And good luck getting a person on the line, or even a call back.
Free parking
Plan on a very long wait, rude and uneducated office staff and added stress you don't really need if you are seeing MFM in the first place. If I could switch I would. The up side is the doctors are great. If you can get through the other downers, you will be ok. Also, don't plan on any prompt call backs or anyone to ever answer the phone for that matter. Basically avoid if possible!
Pros:
Very impressed by the facility and their technology. Excellent care by the tech and doctor I saw- they had a great bedside manner and really took the time to talk through my questions and concerns. I was very happy with my visit, although I wish they had earlier or later appointment times!
Everything in virtua is the worst when it comes to pregnancy. At the center for women OB I was told I will be going for an ultrasound I have been waiting & waiting & I even went back to their office to check if im being scheduled for an ultrasound & they said they will fax my chart to the MFM office. They gave me the MFM office number to call if they will not call me & as I expected I received no call. I had to call the MFM & they said I wasn't scheduled for any ultrasound appointment & they transferred & transferred to another number to another number until I ended up with nothing. Im almost 8 months pregnant & I gave birth early with my first child that's why I'm so worried i dont even know the gender of my baby. I haven't started preparing for any baby stuff yet. I feel I'm being neglected with this virtua services. Don't go here or you'll end up stressing up yourself.
