In fact, I am not sure that she knows what she is doing. One time I overheard her telling a patient (you can hear everything from one room to the other) it was his anxiety points he was most sensitive to (which meant he had most problems with) over and over again, until the guy said "but I don't have anxiety"... He was there for a herniated disc or something like that. She sounded like she has a few things she believes she is treating without knowing what she is really doing. I wish she could have helped me, but despite all the reviews and her (overblown) self confidence, I can't recommend her.
I went to her with very high hopes after reading all the positive reviews online. I have no insurance and she was prohibitively expensive (more than DOUBLE the amount charged by my previous acupuncturist who wasn't cheap to begin with) but I was desperate and Dr. Yang was somewhat pushy on the phone, saying she can help me and I should come. I went to her close to 10 times and saw no improvement. In fact, I am fairly certain I got worse (I did get worse; I mean I am fairly certain that some of my regression can be attributed to her treatment). Acupuncture had never made me feel worse with other practitioners. I think she was way too aggressive. Also, her treatments are excruciatingly painful, which I also never experienced with prior practitioners. I tried to hang in there and spent way more than its worth for intensive treatments within a period of a few weeks. I kept getting worse but she kept pushing that I keep coming. If she will be that pushy on the premise that she can help, then she should be more affordable. She outwardly seems to care about her patients, but if she really did, I don't know how she could be so excessively money-oriented. I have spent many thousands of dollars out of pocket on top doctors before and I can't complain because they each helped to one extent or another. Not her.

I was involved in a car accident in 2004, resulting in 2 bulging disks in my back and constant back pain, often radiating down both legs.
