Stephanie at Cake Stand Bakery was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. Honestly, I wasn't even sure I wanted to have a wedding cake (neither my husband nor I are really cake people) but we were working with Cake Stand Bakery through our caterer. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone searching for a bakery on their own or are doubting their love of cake! Stephanie was so helpful from the beginning, from the initial consultation to the tasting to the final delivery. Being from out of state, her accommodation with scheduling a tasting was much appreciated. And speaking of the tasting, their cakes are DELICIOUS! I already am wishing for our frozen top tier. They even used multiple combinations in our tiers because we couldn't decide between two different flavors! And although we went with a basic, smooth buttercream finish I have seen their other beautiful abilities in different textures, colors and add-ons. Thank you for providing the most delicious cake I have ever eaten!
Never ever disappointed! The BEST I've tried across South Jersey. Love the butter cream icing, and the creativity with new items.
Brought a vanilla cupcake and a oatmeal Carmel brownie yesterday. The only one that was good was the vanilla brownie with nuts and chocolate chips that my mother brought. Was not a fan of the two items I purchased. I will have to try one of there cakes to see if I will like anything else they make.
I wish there were 3.5 stars. The food was got was pretty darn good. I was a bit disappointed in the selection, in that, almost everything was a dense, heavy desert option. Cupcakes with super thick toppings, brownies and cakes with heavy icing. I just wish they had some lighter options that didn't leave you feeling like you just consumed 1500 calories, and sits in your stomach for the rest of the day. Please don't get me wrong, what we ordered was good, I just wanted some lighter options.
I ordered from Cake Stand for many events including birthdays, my bridal shower, wedding and child's christening. It was always a pleasure working on with the bakery on designing my items and everything ordered was well made and tasted great. I especially love their lemon pound cake and sugar cookies. Also their sticky buns are killer!! A definite go to bakery if you are in the South Jersey area!
