DON'T GO! THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE! YOU ARE NOT SAFE GOING! Had a school lock down today. Student at the school threatened a staff member and the school itself with a bomb! Had stated that she has a boyfriend who has access to guns! The school did nothing when these threats were made until the next day, after the teachers finally took a stand! They care more about the bottom line than the safety of the staff and students and the education that is NOT Provided. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THEY ARE A FOR PROFIT SCHOOL ONLY!!!!!!!
So I got a call and it was Harris school. They walked me through options and everything on the phone. My appointment would have been the next day but I had to cancel. When I got on the phone with DERRICK he was kind at first and then got mad at the fact that I had to cancel. He decided to hang up on me. So... that's definitely not customer friendly...
I am currently a student there & I really like the instructors. Also, it is a pleasure having the best classmates ever. I really love my team. We stand together as a unit & everyone gets along. Not only that but we help each other out in our time of need. Once again this is a great group of people. #ClassOfJune2015 #MSTProgram #WeRock
This school is such a hoax. This school is wrong in so many ways. I was lied to in the beginning by one of the advisors that was then fired. I then, witnessed them hiring a teacher for EKG who knew nothing about it and another instructor told them to just read the book and to go over hippa because that's long enough (I only know this because the three instructors talked about it freely together in my EKG class). They tell you that you have to make payments six months after you graduate, long behold, not telling you that when you begin intern that is considered your "graduation." And the payments start six months when you start intern. Why call the ceremony a graduation ceremony if you "technically" graduate after you start intern. And when you confront someone their response is "oh, I don't know who told you that." they lied about our actual ceremony date and they don't communicate with you at all. I was told by the director, Lori Bilder, who sends out our resumes apparently "every day" to expect a call from one of the places. Never heard of got a call. My mom then confronted her and she then changed her statement to, "the students have to call me." this school is a load of lies. This school has been under investigations plenty of times and before cap and gown were paid for, I told Lori that I had about eight people who wanted to come, never in any of my emails did she state that their was a maximum number of tickets given. After I paid for my gap and gown, which you cannot get a refund on, I then get an email that the maximum number of tickets I can get is 4. So now most of my family cannot go. The instructors do not teach you anything that is on the state certification exams and you would think that out of the $10,000 or so that we have to pay, they would add the gap and gowns in it. For the MST certifications, you take an EKG, phlebotomy and patient care exam, which are all separate, in which on my patient care there was ekgs and physiology in it, which a patient care tech CANNOT do. I DO NOT recommend this school to anyone!
School is unprofessional. Teachers dont teach properly. I went to school here, the patient care teacher ms. Karen horrible she bashes trump talks about God for two hours or so. . the phlebotomy teacher ms. Lisa, is the only professional within the school. The new ekg teacher ms. Keisha is a joke she tries to pick fights with students. Ms cat is alright but does give attitude to students. ... Dont waste your money.
