Awesome school with awesome instructors. The classes are challenging but not to the point where you don't want to go. There is no other place I would train. I've gain friendships there that have lasted decades. Mackenzie's is hands down the best place I've trained. Just take the time to come in, meet the staff and students, and form your own opinion. You won't be disappointed.
Did a trial class after i recieved my black belt from my old school where my teacher retired. It was soooo much slower than I was used to. When the instructor asked me why I wasn't out of breath or sweaty I had asked him if this was a beginner's class and he notified me that it was an advanced class. It was martial arts for people that were out of shape but wanted to feel like they were actually doing tae kwon do. On the upside the staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. That's as polite as I can be out of respect for tae kwon do.
I'm so happy I joined Mackenzies. Not only is it fun and exciting to go to in the evening after work, but I feel like I'm learning so much defensive moves and getting in better shape. I really enjoy the staff and have made new friends as well. Definitely worth joining if your looking to be in shape and having fun in the process.
I've been taking the adult classes here for the past few months and have really learned a lot. The six week trial is a great way to start. It's a great workout, motivates me to workout on days I don't take classes, and has helped me build confidence in my ability to defend myself. The adult class times are great too. I'm able to attend after my kids go to bed.
This place is amazing. his other schools also have great reviews. There are two fake reviews as of now on this page. If you check the person they have only reviewed this place. I love Mackenzie's and have been going for over 4 years now.
